Webquests

• There is a lot of buzz about webquests out there.

• I don't actually see people using them very much, and they really work quite well.

• Think of a webquest as a unit for your class that is organized around technology, presentation, teamwork, and research threads.

• I have used several webquests with students in my math classes.

• Webquests require a lot of work up front. They require a certain organization that some teachers don't have.

• They are well worth the effort.

• It is easier to modify an existing webquest instead of starting from scratch.
