Environment

• We are a laptop school. Laptops are issued, and there is a common image.
• We have a gigabit backbone, and good wireless access on campus.
• The network is robust and reliable.
• The TechServices management had the insight to provide each student with a web site as part of their network storage.
• TechServices has allowed (and encouraged) teachers to manage project servers on the intranet.
• There is administrative support at the department level and the organization level for technology integration.
