Assignment 1:

What is the Golden Ratio? 

What is the history of the Golden Ratio?  

Who studied the Golden Ratio and believed it was important to art and architecture?  

How does the Fibonacci Sequence relate to the Golden Ratio?

Assignment 2: Go to this link Follow instructions and enter your measurements in the form. 

We will import the class results into a spreadsheet and look at the ratios of a/g, b/d, i/j, i/c, e/l, f/h, and k/e.

Look up Jay Hambridge and figure out what he has to do with this assignment.

Assignment 3: Go to this link. There will be a tape measure and a few general instructions.

We will import the class results into a spreadsheet as we did yesterday. Today the ratios of interest are adjacent. There is a claim that the ratio of the height to the distance from the navel to the floor will approximate the golden ratio with a large enough group, etc.
